Dr. Arthur G. Duppstadt
Dr. Duppstadt is a second-generation optometrist, following in his father’s footsteps, who has been providing comprehensive eye care to the patients in the Kiski Valley for 60 years. He is a veteran of World War II, where he served as a fighter pilot. He has been a member of the Leechburg Rotary Club for 59 years and served as its president. He is a past member of the Kiski Area School Board and is an advisor to the New Kensington branch of Penn State.
He has been a pioneer in the field of contact lens manufacturing and design. He holds patents on a bifocal contact lens design and also for a tool to repair spring hinges on eyeglass frames. Dr. Duppstadt has championed many community and civic causes, such as the local ambulance service and recycling center.
It’s Dr. Duppstadt’s vast knowledge and experience that is invaluable in fitting bifocal and specialty contact lenses as well as diagnosing and treating all other eye care needs. Dr. Duppstadt and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 59 years and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

Dr. Duppstadt is a third generation optometrist who received his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 1975. In addition to being certified by the Pennsylvania Board of Optometry in the treatment of ocular disease and glaucoma, Dr. Duppstadt has extensive experience fitting bifocal, astigmatism, and other specialty contact lenses. Dr. Duppstadt and his wife, Margaret, have been married for 15 years and have one son.
